Psychedelic Harm Reduction

ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH NEW MENTAL HEALTH SYMPTOMS AFTER USING PSYCHEDELICS?

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

I specialize in supporting people who are experiencing negative mental health effects after taking psychedelics.

I help people who are:

  • experiencing adverse effects from psychedelics, including new-onset anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, depersonalization/derealization, intrusive thoughts, and other distressing symptoms

  • experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health condition after taking psychedelics

  • struggling to make sense of a past psychedelic experience

  • wanting to have an open and nonjudgmental conversation with their doctor about their drug use and how this might affect their mental health or interact with their medications

  • curious about using psychedelics and want to understand how their psychiatric history and medications might affect the associated risk

I work from a harm reduction framework, which means the emphasis in our work together is on reducing harms associated with substance use rather than pushing an abstinence-only agenda. We create a nonjudgmental space where you can be honest about your drug use. I can help you identify the possible risks and benefits of your substance use and support you with evidence-based information about psychedelic substances, their effects, and potential risks.

*Please note that while I do work on clinical research investigating psychedelics, I do not faciliate psychedelic sessions or offer psychedelic-assisted therapy (MDMA, psilocybin, etc) in my private practice, as these substances are still being investigated and are legal only in clinical research studies. I do not provide referrals to underground psychedelic guides nor provide illicit substances or information about how to obtain them.
