Psychedelic Harm Reduction
ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH NEW MENTAL HEALTH SYMPTOMS AFTER USING PSYCHEDELICS?
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
I specialize in supporting people who are experiencing negative mental health effects after taking psychedelics.
I help people who are:
experiencing adverse effects from psychedelics, including new-onset anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, depersonalization/derealization, intrusive thoughts, and other distressing symptoms
experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health condition after taking psychedelics
struggling to make sense of a past psychedelic experience
wanting to have an open and nonjudgmental conversation with their doctor about their drug use and how this might affect their mental health or interact with their medications
curious about using psychedelics and want to understand how their psychiatric history and medications might affect the associated risk
I work from a harm reduction framework, which means the emphasis in our work together is on reducing harms associated with substance use rather than pushing an abstinence-only agenda. We create a nonjudgmental space where you can be honest about your drug use. I can help you identify the possible risks and benefits of your substance use and support you with evidence-based information about psychedelic substances, their effects, and potential risks.
*Please note that while I do work on clinical research investigating psychedelics, I do not faciliate psychedelic sessions or offer psychedelic-assisted therapy (MDMA, psilocybin, etc) in my private practice, as these substances are still being investigated and are legal only in clinical research studies. I do not provide referrals to underground psychedelic guides nor provide illicit substances or information about how to obtain them.
