Let’s TALK.

Thank you for your interest in my practice.

I am currently accepting new patients for combined psychiatry + psychotherapy treatment. Please fill out the form below to schedule a free intro call to talk about whether working together might be a good fit. I currently have a waitlist for patients who are interested in psychiatry-only treatment.

I look forward to being in touch!

Practice Information:

  • I only accept new patients who live in California.

  • All appointments are currently offered via telemedicine. I intend to offer in-person appointments starting in 2025.

  • While I do clinical research on psychedelics, I do not offer any psychedelic-assisted therapy (such as MDMA, psilocybin, etc.) in my private practice, as these substances are only legal in clinical research studies. I do not provide referrals to underground psychedelic guides nor provide illicit substances or information about how to obtain them.

  • I do offer psychedelic integration therapy to process past psychedelic experiences. If you are considering using psychedelics, I offer personalized consultation about how your psychiatric history and medications might affect the associated risk.

  • I am not in-network with any insurance companies, but I can provide a monthly superbill for out-of-network benefits. PPO insurance plans typically reimburse a portion of my fees.

I work with patients in two ways in my practice:

1) Combined psychiatry and psychoanalytic psychotherapy (accepting new patients in early 2025):

We meet for approximately 45 minutes weekly up to 3x/week. I serve as both your psychotherapist and your psychiatrist. For new patients, I seek to first understand the meaning(s) you attribute to psychiatric medications prior to prescribing, so I typically do not immediately start new medications. If you are already on a medication, I may continue prescribing this if we determine that it is appropriate to continue in our initial sessions. For combined psychiatry and psychotherapy appointments, we can start our work together either with a 45-minute appointment or a 90-min appointment depending on your situation and preference.

2) Psychiatry only (very limited availability; waitlist):

You already have an outside psychotherapist that you see regularly. We meet for a 2-hour intake initially and then every 2-4 weeks while you have active symptoms that you would like to address. Once you feel stable with your current treatment, we meet for at least 45-minutes every 3 months if I am prescribing medications.

Fees:

COMBINED PSYCHIATRY + PSYCHOTHERAPY (accepting new patients 2025; sliding scale available):

Combined treatment - initial consultation (90 min): $775

Combined treatment - initial consultation (45 min): $400

Combined treatment - standard appointment (45 min): $400

I am happy to help you understand your out-of-network insurance benefits for psychiatry and psychotherapy if you have a PPO plan.
